Complaints Procedure

Any complaints should first be discussed with Martin, to see if the complaint is maybe due to a misunderstanding, or a minor matter than can be easily resolved. If this initial discussion does not resolve matters to your satisfaction, the complaint procedures is;

All complaints will be acknowledged in writing within five working days of receipt.

All complaints will be investigated and responded to within twenty one working days of receipt.

If the response is not acceptable, the complainant can appeal to the Civil Mediation Council (CMC) on certain grounds. Details of the CMC appeal process can be found at https://civilmediation.org/for-the-public/complaints

Remote and face to face meetings available for all mediations

It is assumed that most mediations will be done remotely online. Face to face mediations can be arranged at the same cost. Travelling distances of 20 miles each way or less will not be charged, but over 20 miles each way will be charged at £60 per hour or part therof.
